OUR STORY:
Aztec Legacy Car Club: Preserving Heritage, Building Community
Founded on October 22, 2020, and formally established on December 15, 2022, Aztec Legacy Car Club in Salinas is a co-ed organization dedicated to preserving and showcasing classic vehicles while fostering strong family and community ties. The club was co-founded by Jose Urquizo and Carmen Barragan, with a leadership team including:

Lino Morales - Vice President
Ernie Fuentes - Secretary
Carmen Barragan - Treasurer
Israel Haro - Sergeant at Arms
Oswaldo “Ozzy” Zarceno - Member at Large, and now current President
Aztec Legacy is more than just a car club; it is a vehicle for positive change. With a focus on education, the club has obtained non-profit status to help fund college scholarships for deserving students in Salinas facing financial challenges. Last year, the club awarded a $1,000 scholarship, and this year, they will distribute four $500 scholarships.

With 16 dedicated members, Aztec Legacy continues to grow under the leadership of Oswaldo “Ozzy” Zarceno. Looking ahead to 2024, the club is planning innovative initiatives to further engage with Salinas youth and continue making a positive impact on the community.
